Project presented by Joel Frezel of Watkins Sign & Lighting.  Family Dollar is rebranding/refacing with the new signage.  The pole and cabinet for the freestanding sign will be sanded and repainted.

Committee Comments, Questions, Concerns

  • Is the Superior Ave sign centered on the elevation?
  • Will any damage be repaired during the refacing of the signage?
  • Will there be a raceway?
  • How many sources of power will there be?  Three penetrations for power joined at one socket outlet.
  • Can the wall lighting on the E. 74th elevation be moved or lowered (under the soffit) to create a nicer aesthetic?

Motion to approve with the security lights moved into the soffit and the cabinet and pole sign will be painted all the same color by all committee members present.
